Unity Muse is the AI platform built into the Unity game engine — the most widely used game development tool in the world. Muse brings generative AI capabilities directly into the editor, so developers don't leave their workflow to use AI.

## Muse Chat

Muse Chat is an AI assistant that lives inside the Unity editor and answers Unity-specific questions. Ask about scripting APIs, debugging errors, shader configuration, or best practices — Muse Chat has been trained on Unity's documentation, forums, and code examples. It understands your project context and can generate code snippets, explain error messages, and suggest implementation approaches.

## Muse Sprite

Muse Sprite generates 2D sprites and textures from text prompts directly within Unity. Describe the asset — "top-down pixel art character, medieval knight, 32x32" — and Muse Sprite generates options. Artists iterate with prompt refinement or style controls without switching to external tools.

## Muse Animate (Beta)

In beta, Muse Animate generates animation clips from text descriptions. Describe a movement ("walking cycle, injured limp, slow") and the system produces a starting animation for rigging.

## Integration

Because Muse is built into Unity, generated assets are immediately available in the project hierarchy. No import workflow, no format conversion. Code generated by Muse Chat can be applied directly to selected GameObjects.

Unity Muse is included with Unity Pro ($2,040/year) and Unity Enterprise. Unity Personal and Unity Plus users can subscribe separately for $30/month.
