Shortwave is an AI-native email client built for Gmail that reimagines inbox management with intelligent organization, AI-drafted replies, and automated triage. It connects to your existing Gmail account and provides a redesigned interface with AI woven throughout — rather than bolting AI onto a traditional email experience.

**AI inbox organization:** Shortwave automatically categorizes incoming email into channels (newsletters, notifications, important, and custom filters you define). The AI learns your patterns over time, improving categorization accuracy and surfacing what you actually need to see without manual folder management.

**AI reply drafting:** Click "Reply" and Shortwave analyzes the email thread to draft a contextually appropriate response in your writing style. The draft is a starting point — typically 80-90% of the way to a final email — that you edit and send. Shortwave learns from what you send versus what you delete to improve future drafts.

**Thread summarization:** For long email threads with many participants, Shortwave generates a one-paragraph summary of the current state — decisions made, outstanding questions, and who last took action. This is particularly valuable for catching up on threads where you were CC'd.

**Priority inbox:** An AI-ranked view that puts the emails most likely to need your attention at the top, based on sender relationship, thread context, time sensitivity signals, and explicit importance markers you've set.

**AI search:** Natural language search across your email history ("the contract Kyle sent about the Denver project in March") rather than requiring exact keyword matching. Shortwave can find relevant emails even without the specific sender name or subject.

**Scheduling and snooze:** Defer emails to a specific time, schedule send, and set reminders — standard features, but integrated with AI triage to surface snoozes at the right moment.

**Pricing:** Personal (free) includes 1 Gmail account with basic AI features. Pro ($7/month) connects up to 3 accounts, enables unlimited AI drafting, and adds advanced search. Business ($14/month) supports team-level features.
