## Core Enhancement Capabilities

**AI Upscaling (Gigapixel)** — increase image resolution up to 6× while adding detail, not just interpolating pixels. The AI predicts what detail should exist at higher resolution based on patterns learned from millions of images. Ideal for: - Cropped images that need printing at larger sizes - Old film scans with insufficient megapixels for modern output - Images captured at low resolution in poor conditions - Social media images that need print-quality resolution

**AI Noise Reduction (DeNoise)** — remove digital noise (grain from high ISO shooting) while preserving actual image detail. Traditional noise reduction blurs fine detail to remove noise; Topaz's neural network distinguishes actual texture from noise patterns, preserving eyelashes, fabric texture, and hair while eliminating ISO grain.
