Unlike Suno or Udio (which generate songs with vocals from text), AIVA focuses on instrumental scores with compositional depth — chord progressions, arrangement, orchestration.

## Compositional Control

AIVA offers more control than most AI music generators: - **Style presets**: Classical, Cinematic, Pop, Jazz, Electronic, Fantasy, Ambient, and 25+ more - **Key and time signature**: choose tonality and rhythm structure - **Instruments**: select which instruments should feature - **Duration**: target specific lengths (30 seconds to 5 minutes) - **Mood influence**: guide the emotional arc (tense → resolution, melancholic, triumphant)

Advanced users can edit the generated score in AIVA's built-in MIDI editor — adjust individual notes, change instrumentation, modify timing.
