Recraft

Recraft is an AI-powered design tool built around brand consistency — a common pain point with generic image generators that produce visually inconsistent outputs across a project. Recraft's signature feature is its Style system: users define a visual style (color palette, line weight, illustration style, mood) and lock it, so all subsequent generations within that project maintain a unified look.

The tool excels at vector illustration, icon sets, UI mockups, social media graphics, and marketing materials. Unlike raster-first generators, Recraft outputs native SVG and supports scalable vector exports for print and web use cases where pixel art falls short.

Recraft launched in 2023 and built a strong following in the design and product community. It gained traction with brand designers who needed a generator they could trust to stay on-brand — something Midjourney and DALL-E couldn't reliably deliver. The platform includes a brand kit system, team workspaces, and a library of style presets across flat illustration, 3D render, and photorealistic styles.
